Healthcare in Malawi is inadequate to fully address factors plaguing the population, including infant mortality and diseases, especially HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis.


Poor hygiene, lack of sanitation and low quantity and quality of drinking water contribute to Malawi’s poor health indicators for mothers and children.
